Privacy Policy

Last updated September 21, 2026

This policy covers webzbugz.com, operated by Webz Exterminating, LLC, trading as Webz Bugz. It explains what happens to information you give us through this website and what the website collects on its own.

What we collect when you request an estimate

The estimate form on this site asks for your name, phone number and ZIP code, and what pest you are dealing with. Those four are required, because without them we cannot call you back or tell you whether you are in our service area. Your email address and any notes you add are optional.

The form also records which page you submitted it from. That tells us what you were reading when you decided to get in touch, which helps us work out which pages are worth keeping.

We use all of this for one thing: responding to your request and arranging the work. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

What we collect when you just visit

This is a static website. It sets no cookies of its own, and there is no account to create and no login to keep track of.

Our hosting provider, Netlify, records standard server request data — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — in the ordinary course of serving the site.

The Better Business Bureau seal in the footer and on the contact page is loaded directly from the BBB, so your browser makes a request to their server when a page carrying it loads. That is a live seal on purpose: a self-hosted copy would freeze a rating the BBB updates.

Analytics

The published website uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand how people find and move through the site, and Microsoft Clarity, which records aggregated interaction data such as clicks and scrolling. These tell us which pages help and which ones do not.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across every website using Google's own browser add-on, and most browsers let you block or clear these cookies through their privacy settings.

Who else can see your information

Form submissions are processed by Netlify, which hosts this site and handles its forms, and are then sent on to us by email. Analytics data goes to Google and Microsoft as described above.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Beyond that, nobody outside our business sees your enquiry.

Text messages and calls

If you call or text 513-987-9329, your phone number reaches us the same way it would for any other call. If you give us your number on the estimate form, we will use it to respond to that request — not to send marketing messages.

Children

This website is aimed at homeowners and business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

Asking us to delete your information

Email Ken@webzbugz.com or call 513-987-9329 and ask. Tell us the phone number or email address you used so we can find the right record. We will confirm once it is done.

Links to other websites

Where we link out — to the BBB, to Facebook, or to research we have cited — those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one does not cover them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. There is no mailing list to notify, which is rather the point.
